Brreg Self-hosted — annual licence

Status: in development – available by agreement. The self-hosted edition is not available yet. Once it is ready, it will be delivered under a written agreement, with personal onboarding. If you want to run Brreg on your own server, request a quote and we will get in touch to agree on onboarding.

Brreg Self-hosted is for organisations that want Enhetsregisteret, the Norwegian register of legal entities, over MCP on their own infrastructure, with fresh data every week.

Included once the self-hosted edition is delivered

• The same MCP tools as the hosted service, served from a local copy on your server
• New data checked every 12 hours by default (configurable); weekly updates install automatically
• Updates itself with versions we release for self-hosting (can be switched off)
• Entities Brønnøysundregistrene removes from the open data, taken out automatically within 24 hours
• Key financials fetched directly from Brønnøysundregistrene when you ask (can be switched off)
• No daily quota; your users sign in with a Publifye account, and your administrators get an admin dashboard
• Personal onboarding and email support during the subscription period

What the installation sends to Publifye

In the self-hosted edition, with the default settings, your queries – search text, tool arguments and organisation numbers – are never sent to Publifye. Your server contacts Publifye for sign-in, for a data check (installation key and current dataset), for an update check (version and machine ID) and for a heartbeat with version, status and user activity counts. The update check and the heartbeat can be switched off. Remote logging to Publifye, analytics and usage metering stay off unless you switch them on. When you ask for key financials or check an entity against the register, the organisation number is sent to Brønnøysundregistrene's open API.

Your organisation is the data controller for the copy of the register on its own server.

Licence

• One organisation, one production installation plus standby and test, for internal use
• Delivered under a written agreement, with personal onboarding
• NOK 9,890 per year excluding VAT (NOK 12,362.50 including 25% VAT), renewed every year
• Not included: guaranteed response times (SLA), custom integrations, public download, and operation without a connection to Publifye

Renewal and end of subscription

The licence renews every year. Renewal and payment follow the written agreement. When the subscription ends, your users can no longer sign in and data updates stop; users already signed in lose access within two hours. Data you have already downloaded is open data under NLOD 2.0.
